Power, elegance, passion, strength, seduction… the flamenco and tango share much more than the Atlantic Ocean that unites them. And the next Thursday 10th August will take place on the Tropical Coast of Granada, specifically on the Park El Majuelo de Almuñécar from 22.30 hours.
The group will put on stage ‘ El Tango por Alegrías’ , a show with the essence of Gardel and Paco de Lucía, a duel between both ways of understanding music and dance that irremediably ends in idyll. On this occasion the band will be in sextet format and will have the special collaboration to the flamenco dance of Mayte Beltrán and Tony Santiago.
In the repertoire of La Milonga Flamenca the mature and passionate voice of Mauro Rosso travels back in time and is transported to Montevideo in the mid-20th century to interpret beautiful classics of the gaucho culture. However, in this case, the instruments, tricks or melodies used are irremediably close to the Andalusia of taranto or bulería. The result: the inevitable and borderless mixture.
The price of the advance ticket is 12 euros and 15 euros if you buy at the ticket office on the day of the show. In advance you can get them at the Tourist Office of Almuñécar (Granada) and on the website of All Tickets.
This concert was organized by the Ministry of Culture and Education of Almuñécar City Council and produced by Kuver.
To date, La Milonga Flamenca has a published album: ‘ Tango y bolero con flamencura’ . You can listen in Spotify.
La Milonga Flamenca is an exclusive contract of Kuver Producciones.
